Fosterville Gold Mine is proud to partner with the McKern Steel Foundation to help bring a fresh fruit vitamin boost to even more local students across our region.
Through the partnership, students at Axedale Primary School, Goornong Primary School and Eppalock Primary School will now be guaranteed a regular Friday delivery of fresh fruit.
Fosterville Gold Mine Community Advisor Leigh Byrne said supporting the program was an easy decision.
"We know that it's the simple things that have a lasting impact in our local community, which is why we're proud to partner with the McKern Steel Foundation to help expand the benefits it brings to more schools across the region."
Fresh Fruit Friday delivers more than 1,000 kilograms of fresh fruit to schools every week, helping make nutritious choices more accessible for local students.
