Rehabilitation at Fosterville
We are required to undertake progressive rehabilitation and revegetation of land once mining has ceased.
This is completed in accordance with the Rehabilitation and Closure Plan, which includes closure concepts and end land uses for the site.
Rehabilitated areas are managed and monitored routinely to ensure that the specified closure criteria are being achieved.
A great example of our commitment to progressive and effective rehabilitation, is the backfilling and revegetation of Rehe’s Pit.
