Year 10 students get a taste of mining


This week we welcomed work experience students, Aydin, Riley, Pippa and William on site as part of their Year 10 work experience placement. 

The students who have demonstrated a genuine interest in pursuing careers in mining, will spend the week learning more about all the different facets of the mining industry, with each being deployed to different departments which match their specific areas of interest:

  • Finance Department – William from Victory Christian College 
  • Electrical Department – Riley from Bendigo South East College
  • Technical Services Department – Aydin from Bendigo South East College
  • Environment and Community Team – Pippa from Victory Christian College

We are pleased to have partnered with the Goldfields Local Learning and Employment Network (GLLEN) who coordinate the placements on our behalf.
