Ground Vibration Webinar

Fosterville Gold Mine (FGM) invites neighbouring landholders to join us for an online ground vibration webinar.

The webinar will focus on ground vibration associated with blasting and mine-induced seismicity (MIS).

Information covered:

  • What is ground vibration and Mine Induced Seismicity
  • How we measure ground vibration and what numbers are important to know
  • What levels of ground vibration have the potential to cause damage to structures
  • What FGM is doing to minimise the impact of ground vibration on its neighbours

We will also allocate time for open discussions and questions. We encourage you to bring any concerns or queries you have, especially regarding the recent MIS event.
