FGM Community Grants announced - Second round of 2024


Fosterville Gold Mine is excited to announce the successful recipients of the second round of our popular Community Grants for 2024. On Thursday 14 November, the successful applicants were presented with the grants by Environment and Community Manager, Will Wettenhall.

Congratulations to the recipients:

  • Bendigo Bush Rats – To cover tip fees and fuel costs in aid of their efforts to clean up local forest areas. 
  • Golden Square CFA – To acquire battery-powered lighting, to enhance their operational efficiency and safety during emergency responses.
  • Phoenix FM – To continue providing regular national news coverage. 
  • Heathcote International Film Festival – For the purchase of a portable microphone to use for high-quality audio in their film productions.
  • Cycling Without Age – To purchase a trishaw bike, promoting inclusivity by providing elderly and less-mobile community members with cycling experiences.
  • Kamarooka Recreation Reserve – To purchase a new lawn mower for the maintenance of the recreational space. 
  • Raywood Recreation Reserve Committee of Management – To replace the pavilion oven for community and event usage.
