After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Bendigo Easter Festival 2022, was back and better than ever with Agnico Eagle Fosterville as the major sponsor.
Besides having a stand at the festival where people could go to learn more about the mine’s operations, there were also heaps of fun activities, show bags and great prizes on offer!
We had a wonderful time connecting with the community over the course of the weekend and were very excited to have one of our enormous ore trucks be part of the Torchlight Procession on Sunday night … driven by our drivers Emma and Kristian.
There were 140 entries into our photo scavenger hunt competition and we are excited to announce the following winners who will receive some great mining Lego sets. Well done to you all!

And let’s not forget those who found our special nuggets in their panning trays and went home with half ounce Agnico Eagle Gold Medallions worth over $1,200 each!
