FGM Community Grants announced - First round of 2025

Fosterville Gold Mine is excited to announce the successful recipients of the first round of our popular Community Grants for 2025. On Thursday, 1st May, the successful applicants were presented with their grants by General Manager, Lance Faulkner. 

Congratulations to the recipients:

  • Milloo Hall Committee – Installing centenary gates to honour the 100th anniversary of the heritage-listed Milloo Hall, celebrated on 11 October 2025.
  • Uniting Threads – Purchasing a sewing machine to continue creating and donating quilts for people in need, including foster children. 
  • Strathfieldsaye Colts Football Club – Installing new goals to benefit the growing club, which had 421 registered members in 2024.
  • Strathfieldsaye Bowls Club – Buying a greens roller to maintain high-quality bowling surfaces for its 200 club members.
  • Golden Square Kindergarten – Upgrading sandpit and water play equipment for over 200 children and staff, encouraging creative play.
  • Elmore Football Netball Club – Installing a drinking fountain and water bottle station for better hydration at their netball facilities.
  • Nanneella Community Inc. – Providing new tables for the 100-year-old Nanneella Soldiers Memorial Hall, used by various community groups weekly.
  • Bendigo Region Women’s Shed – Supporting workshops in home maintenance, gardening, and woodworking, empowering women through skill-building and connection.
  • Huntly Men’s Shed – Expanding equipment to support activities that enhance members’ well-being and community involvement.
