Mates ask mates “RUOK?”

On Thursday 8, September FGM staff gathered to support RUOK Day. A shared morning tea brought all of us together for a chat and catch-up.

There were breakfast pies, coffee and special RUOK and Mates in Mining cookies. We also shared a video that championed our Mates In Mining connectors.

A flag was raised to signify that we are ‘flying the flag’ for all of the great community resources and people within the FGM community who are working to reduce the stigma around mental health and prevent suicide.

Fosterville was also proud to sponsor Lifeline Central Victoria and Mallee’s Hello For Hope Week which ran from 5-10 September.

Along with our sponsorship, we also raised funds through community donations, almost doubling our target!
