Check out our underground workings

Many people are surprised to learn that over 120km of underground tunnels have been developed since the commencement of underground mining at Fosterville in 2006 ... that’s the distance between Bendigo and Shepparton.

The diagram shows the extent of the current underground workings, as well as proposed development into the future.

At its deepest point the mine is now over 1.3 km vertically below the surface with the two main production areas of Harrier and Phoenix at depths of 800m and 1.3km respectively.
